To enhance the professional competence of teachers in intelligent control technologies and to equip them with a thorough understanding of the principles and practical applications of intelligent control equipment, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security is organizing a training program on innovative applications of intelligent control technologies—focusing on industrial Internet technologies. The specific training activities are jointly hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Institute of National Defense Science and Technology and Guangdong Chengfei Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.
To enhance the professional competence of teachers in intelligent control technologies and to enable them to master the principles and other application methods of intelligent control equipment, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security is organizing a training program titled “Training Course for Faculty on Innovative Applications of Intelligent Control Technologies (Industrial Internet Technology Focus).” The specific training program is jointly organized by the Guangdong Provincial Institute of National Defense Science and Technology Technicians and Guangdong Chengfei Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.
The five-day training course, held from July 3 to 7, 2020, featured a diverse array of expert instructors, including Associate Professor Chen Rongjun and Master’s supervisor at Guangdong Technical Normal University; Senior Engineer Wang Xianchen from Shenzhen Polytechnic; Executive Vice Chairman Yang Chengfang of the National Vocational Education Alliance for IoT and Smart Connectivity; as well as industry experts in intelligent control technology, Li Xinwen, Zhang Junwu, and Zhang Yuanqin. The program employed a variety of teaching methods, such as thematic lectures, case studies, hands-on exercises, and experience-sharing sessions.
Through participation in the training, participants will master equipment system initialization as well as the functions and operating principles of various sensors. They will be able to design appropriate control programs for intelligent material selection, intelligent machining, intelligent inspection and sorting, and material handling—including inbound and outbound logistics—and conduct installation and commissioning. Additionally, they will learn to configure parameters via internet communication and mobile apps, and effectively integrate cutting-edge technologies such as remote monitoring.

Associate Professor Chen Rongjun of Guangdong Technical Normal University, who also serves as a master’s supervisor, delivered a detailed presentation on the topic “Development Trends of the Industrial Internet and Intelligent Control Technologies in the 5G Era.”
Wang Xianchen, a senior engineer in electronic engineering at Shenzhen Polytechnic, delivered a detailed presentation on the topic of “Application Analysis in Industries Related to Intelligent Control Technology and the Systematic Development and Implementation of Intelligent Control Technology within Professional Discipline Clusters.”
Yang Chengfang, Vice Chairman of the National IoT and Smart Connectivity Industry–Education Collaborative Talent Development Alliance and General Manager of Guangdong Chengfei Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a detailed presentation on the topic “Exploring Models for Cultivating Talents in Intelligent Control Technology in the Context of the New Era.”
