Basic Platform for AI Trainers
Product Description
1. Platform Overview
This experimental platform is a basic setup, equipped with a standard industrial area‑scan camera, a fixed‑focus lens, lighting and a controller, a simple manual test bench, image‑processing software, and a printed guide to fundamental experiments. It enables learners to master the fundamentals of machine vision—such as the principles and parameters of cameras and lenses, and lighting techniques—as well as the use of essential tools, including image acquisition and processing. Additionally, when paired with the Opto Education Resource Package (available separately), it supports hands‑on instruction and practical training in common machine‑vision applications, including character recognition, product positioning, surface inspection, and dimensional measurement. With its straightforward operation and strong practicality, this platform serves as an ideal tool for teaching and practicing machine‑vision technologies.
Experimental platform parameters:
Platform dimensions: 400 × 300 × 927 mm (length × width × height)
Adjustable light source height range: 0–700 mm
Adjustable camera working distance: 0–800 mm
Power: ≤0.1 kVA
Power requirements: 220 VAC ±10% (50 Hz)
2. Experimental Project
For common machine vision functions—such as positioning, inspection, recognition, and measurement—combined with industry applications (3C, semiconductors, ...).
(in industries such as printing), by leveraging a well‑established hardware experimental platform, the following experimental projects are carried out.
2.1. Common 1D Barcode Recognition
2.2. Common QR Code Recognition
2.3. Coin Contour Localization and Character Recognition
2.4. Bottle Cap Surface Inspection
2.5. Poker Character Recognition and Defective Printing Inspection
2.6. Chip PIN Pitch Measurement Experiment (Measurement)
2.7. Measurement of Bolt Thread Count and Pitch
2.8. Character Recognition for Through-Hole Capacitors (Recognition)
2.9. Soybean Counting Experiment (Identification, Measurement, and Localization)
