As the pace of Industry 4.0 accelerates, the transformation and upgrading of modern manufacturing are driving automation technologies toward the era of intelligence, with smart manufacturing steadily gaining widespread adoption.

Guangdong Polytechnic of Industry and Trade is a full-time, regular higher vocational college directly affiliated with the People’s Government of Guangdong Province. It is a model higher vocational institution in Guangdong Province and one of the 18 institutions in the province designated to build first-class higher vocational colleges nationwide.

Guangdong Polytechnic of Industry and Trade has established an industrial network control training laboratory, dedicated to teaching Industrial 4.0 fieldbus and industrial networking technologies. The project is equipped with an industrial bus network communication installation and commissioning training system, the 3DForceControl digital monitoring platform, and corresponding instructional courseware resources. The laboratory enables students to master industrial network installation and commissioning skills such as ProfiNET and Modbus, thereby enhancing the capacity to cultivate talent in technologies urgently needed by the industry.
