Zhongshan Technician College has established an industrial Internet–industry‑education integration base spanning approximately 1,000 square meters.

Zhongshan Technician College was founded in 1980. It is a national-level base for cultivating highly skilled personnel, a nationally designated key technical school, a national model institution for the reform and development of secondary vocational education, a national training center for WorldSkills competition events, a public training base for high-skilled talent in Guangdong Province, one of the first ten institutions selected to establish high‑level technician colleges in Guangdong Province, and one of the first three technician colleges in Guangdong Province to be incorporated into higher vocational education.

Zhongshan Technician College has established an industrial Internet–industry‑education integration base spanning approximately 1,000 square meters. The facility encompasses industrial robot simulation, basic and integrated training labs, mechatronics workshops, and a water‑treatment training center, and is equipped with systems for data acquisition, modeling, visualization, and cloud‑based teaching. Featuring an integrated “industry–education–competition–assessment” approach, the base can accommodate over 240 trainees, further advancing industry–education collaboration and the cultivation of high‑quality technical and skilled professionals.

The industry–education integration base is functionally divided into the following areas: 1) the base’s lobby and cultural corridor; 2) the industrial robot simulation training room; 3) the industrial robot basic training room; 4) the industrial robot comprehensive training room; 5) the mechatronics intensive training base; 6) the water treatment intensive training base; 7) the master‑craftsman studio; 8) the achievements exhibition hall; 9) the conference room; and 10) the faculty office.
